Job Overview

Spectrum Marketing Companies is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Design Traffic Coordinator to join our award-winning in-house creative team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of print design and production, with the ability to determine the integrity of supplied information and materials.

The Graphic Design Traffic Coordinator will serve as the hub of our graphic design team, responsible for receipt, prioritization, and distribution of incoming work to our design team. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receipt, prioritization, and distribution of incoming work to our design team
  • Vetting and inspection of all submissions prior to design assignment
  • Light design work when necessary
  • Daily communication with multiple departments

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in graphic design required
  • Strong working knowledge of MAC Platform Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and MS Office/Outlook
  • Familiarity with preparing files for offset and digital printing
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels throughout the organization
  • Exceptional grammar and spelling skills
  • Scrupulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising accuracy in a deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with an eye for details; ability to multi-task

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at desk
  • Significant periods of screen time
  • Fine motor skills for keyboarding, manipulating artwork, and copy
  • Ability to distinguish colors and shades
  • Oral communication in English (other language may be a plus)
