Position Overview
As a pivotal member of the finance leadership team, this role is designed to support the organization as a collaborative business partner and serve as a vital thought leader in both strategic and operational financial decision-making. If you are a dynamic finance executive eager to assist 6K in achieving its next phase of growth and development, this position offers a significant professional opportunity.
Financial Support Responsibilities:
- Facilitate month-end and year-end financial closing processes, preparing financial documentation for management and operational assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams (e.g., Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, Accounting) to integrate diverse financial models and ensure thorough reporting.
- Deliver finance business partner support to corporate and global functions, providing analytical insights and perspectives to senior management.
Leadership & Strategic Development:
- Direct and oversee the FP&A team, cultivating a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance.
- Formulate and execute financial strategies that align with the company's growth, productivity, and profitability goals.
- Offer financial and business leadership, guiding the organization in making informed strategic choices.
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Supervise the creation and implementation of strategic and annual operating plans, financial forecasts, and management reports.
- Drive the budgeting process, ensuring effective expense management and investment evaluation.
- Develop predictive analytics and performance management tools to monitor and report on key financial indicators.
Process Enhancement:
- Identify and pursue opportunities for process enhancements to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Lead the development and implementation of systems, processes, and controls to promote financial discipline and accountability.
- Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in FP&A and financial modeling.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Extensive knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling software).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to provide deep insights and recommendations.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

Educational & Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 7 years in an FP&A leadership capacity.
- Experience in a manufacturing or complex multinational environment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing financial models and strategies that yield business insights and expected outcomes.
Impactful Contributions:
- Provide financial transparency and recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and advise the executive leadership team on business decisions.
- Develop a high-performing FP&A team that meets the increasing needs and requirements across the business, driving the overall organization forward.
- Lead the annual budgeting and long-range strategic planning processes, overseeing and partnering in financial forecasting.
- Prepare executive presentations, including financial reporting, comprehensive business analyses, and recommendations for executive management.
- Collaborate with executives to position 6K for fundraising in private and public markets.
- Lead the strategy, design, and scaling of business reporting systems, partnering across the organization to support a world-class ERP/BI systems implementation.
- Work closely with the Corporate Controller and Tax/Treasury functions on all accounting, tax, and treasury matters, as well as with division finance teams on all division finance topics.
Qualifications for Success:
- Proven business acumen and strategic insight into enterprise value creation, with a high level of energy and a demonstrated track record in building and maturing FP&A organizations.
- Strong executive presence and a history of being a trusted advisor to the executive team, excelling in both leadership and collaborative roles.
- The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position, encompassing both near-term and long-range financial planning and reporting.
- Experience with fundraising in private markets and IPO experience is advantageous.
- Experience in implementing and enhancing business reporting systems is highly desirable.

- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in accounting or finance; an MBA or CPA would be beneficial.
