Optical Sales Professional

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional optical experience to our guests by combining their knowledge, skills, and personality with the guests' needs and our high-quality fashion brands. Key responsibilities include consistently meeting sales plans and company objectives, utilizing optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, and assisting patients in selecting frames and coordinating them with optical measurements.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver sales plans and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
- Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
- Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate them with optical measurements.
- Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Optician as needed.
- Participate in a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
- Maintain the appearance of the store and displays, and take initiative to keep inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
- Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
- Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
- Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Self-motivation and ability to multi-task, with a demonstrated ability to respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
