We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineering Administrator to join our team at Sanden International, USA, Inc. in Wylie, TX. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for supporting the design and development of our products, ensuring compliance with Sanden and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute product development by achieving accurate testing and data.
  • Complete engineering tasks (testing / facility development) with support.
  • Develop working knowledge for Sanden products, testing facilities, and AC systems.
  • Setup test facilities by installing A/C components, piping, and building sample compressors for testing, including component-level testing.
Requirements
  • Good decision-making skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Data gathering and analysis skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
Education and Experience
  • Graduate of a tech-school for mechanical/electrical technicians or has some special skill or working experience for AC systems would be preferable.
  • Basic knowledge of current computer technology and applications such as MS Office applications.
  • Good communication skills with internal customers.
  • Hands-on experience with vehicle and test equipment (plumbing, electrical, air flow, welding, soldering).
  • Ability to read and understand schematics.
Licenses and Certifications
  • EPA-608, EPA-609 are desired.
Work Environment

Primary work area is in a test lab setting. Other work environments include assembly plant and office environment. Open office layout promotes collaboration, conversation, and teamwork to drive results. Healthy work-life balance – paid time off. Normal office hours – occasional support during off hours. Travel Requirements

0 – 10% domestic, 0 – 5% international to countries such as but not limited to Japan, Mexico.
