Job Summary:

PGS Worldwide is seeking a skilled Assembler to support ongoing projects for a leading Aerospace and Defense company. This is a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity on the 1st shift, Monday-Thursday and every other Friday, 6 am to 3:30 pm, paying up to $22 per hour for well-qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of tasks, from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations, on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Conduct quality inspections on the processing line by quality specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of related experience in electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and understand Operating Procedures.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • US Citizenship.
