The Supply Chain Inventory/Purchasing team plays a pivotal role in managing customer needs at a tactical level, ensuring that the correct quantity of products is delivered to the appropriate location, at the right time and cost, utilizing a sophisticated Warehouse Inventory System.
Position Summary
The Senior Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator is tasked with overseeing both Inbound and Outbound operations while managing the workload of direct reports. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational skills, foster strong relationships, be a collaborative team player, and possess a heightened sense of urgency.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts data entry tasks to accurately capture information in the system, including vendor and product data, adhering to industry regulations.
- Generates and reviews reports to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Maintains intercompany pricing within the system.
- Engages with inventory analysts and the sales team to obtain any missing information.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in operations coordination is required.
- Proficient experience with SAP is essential.
- Effectively applies knowledge of job responsibilities and company policies to complete a variety of assignments.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge in a technical or specialty area.
- Utilizes advanced skills to independently resolve complex issues.
- May adapt processes to address specific situations.
- Works autonomously within established procedures, receiving general guidance on new tasks.
- May provide guidance or technical support to less experienced team members.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $23.00 per hour.
