In the realm of operations, our focus lies in the effective handling of materials and the seamless distribution of products within both distribution and manufacturing settings. This encompasses warehousing, fulfillment of materials and products, transportation logistics, inventory oversight, as well as demand, supply, and manufacturing planning. The Supply Chain Inventory/Purchasing team plays a pivotal role in managing customer needs at a tactical level, ensuring that the correct quantity of products is delivered to the appropriate location, at the right time and cost, utilizing a sophisticated Warehouse Inventory System.

Position Summary

The Senior Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator is tasked with overseeing both Inbound and Outbound operations while managing the workload of direct reports. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional organizational skills, foster strong relationships, be a collaborative team player, and possess a heightened sense of urgency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts data entry tasks to accurately capture information in the system, including vendor and product data, adhering to industry regulations.
  • Generates and reviews reports to ensure data consistency and integrity.
  • Maintains intercompany pricing within the system.
  • Engages with inventory analysts and the sales team to obtain any missing information.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in operations coordination is required.
  • Proficient experience with SAP is essential.
