Key Responsibilities- Production Line Operations: Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation during the manufacturing process.
- Quality Assurance: Follow quality control procedures to ensure products meet established standards and specifications. Inspect products for defects and report any deviations or issues to the supervisor.
- Packaging and Labeling: Package finished products according to designated procedures, ensuring accurate labeling, proper seals, and appropriate packaging materials.
- Assembly Line Work: Perform tasks on the production line, such as sorting, weighing, measuring, mixing ingredients, or assembling components. Maintain a steady workflow and meet production targets.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and utensils according to standard protocols and safety regulations.
- Material Handling: Receive and store raw materials, ingredients, or packaging materials. Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory management.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate production records, including batch numbers, product counts, and production logs.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in food manufacturing or a production environment is preferred.
- Skills: Knowledge of food safety practices, hygiene standards, and quality control procedures. Ability to operate machinery and equipment and perform repetitive tasks effectively.
- Physical Demands: Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderately heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
