Job Overview:

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to contribute to our engineering projects. The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise in the design of electrical control panels, focusing on layout and wiring schematics. This role demands precision, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Generate comprehensive electrical control panel designs, incorporating layout and wiring schematics, utilizing advanced CAD software.
  • Technical Analysis: Analyze technical specifications, schematics, and engineering drawings to formulate tailored control panel solutions.
  • Component Selection: Identify suitable electrical components and apparatus to fulfill project specifications while adhering to industry regulations.
  • Documentation: Compile and sustain thorough documentation for all design initiatives, including bills of materials (BOM), assembly guidelines, and quality assurance documentation.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with client requirements and project timelines.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality assessments and testing on control panels to verify compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Process Enhancement: Recognize areas for improvement in design methodologies and suggest innovative strategies to boost efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the design of electrical control panels, including layout and wiring schematics.
  • Technical Proficiencies:
  • Expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical).
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and principles of control panel design.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., UL, NEC, IEC).
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and associated control systems is advantageous.
