About the Role

This Clinical Access Specialist position plays a critical role in managing patient flow and streamlining registration processes in our Ambulatory Care areas. As a key member of our team, you will interact with patients and families, addressing their concerns and needs while maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing patient access functions, including check-in/check-out, registration activities, insurance verification, and scheduling of appointments and services
  • Performing electronic scheduling tasks with precision and accuracy
  • Working closely with the Manager, Ambulatory Care Operations, to ensure effective workflow management

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • 3 Years experience in a related role; related experience in fast-paced, professional, customer service role can be considered in conjunction with healthcare (Required)
