About the Role

Dialpad is seeking a Senior Manager, SEO to join our marketing organization. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies and tactics to grow organic traffic, demand, and pipeline.

The ideal candidate will conduct keyword research, champion SEO best practices for web content, forecast quarterly targets, and monitor KPIs and attainment to goals.

This role also involves managing a team of Outreach Specialists and collaborating with other marketing teams, content writers, web developers, and external partners to ensure Dialpad adheres to SEO best practices.

The successful candidate will be passionate about SEO, have a growth mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to manage multiple projects and internal stakeholders while understanding the strategic big picture.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive SEO strategy to drive inbound pipeline growth and Dialpad's business goals.
  2. Conduct in-depth keyword research, optimize metadata, analyze competitors, and perform technical and on-page audits to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of Outreach Specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  4. Manage SEO content production in collaboration with the content team, including providing recommendations for new content opportunities and optimizations of existing content that align with SEO goals.
  5. Oversee and implement technical SEO initiatives, including site speed optimization, mobile-first indexing, and structured data implementation, in partnership with the engineering team.
  6. Manage relationships with external SEO partners and vendors.
  7. Report on KPIs and SEO impact to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  8. Partner with stakeholders to develop and champion best practices for SEO, workflows, and governance.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and algorithm updates, adjusting strategies and tactics accordingly.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of driving organic traffic growth and performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and content strategy.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing and developing teams.
