Role Summary:
We are seeking a Full-Time Nursing Education Specialist to become an integral part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Nursing Education Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:
- Continuously enhance instructional quality by exploring and implementing innovative teaching methodologies.
- Exhibit or develop proficiency in utilizing online tools to enrich course content and foster interactive learning experiences.
- Assist in the evaluation and modification of course syllabi in accordance with program standards and educational guidelines.
- Timely submit essential program documentation and reports to the program director.
- Stay updated with advancements in technology and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and skills assessments, while supporting program data collection efforts.
- Help manage and update student files related to clinical prerequisites, immunizations, and educational criteria.
- Deliver courses at various times and locations to meet program demands.
- Conduct both theoretical lectures and practical clinical sessions, which may occur during days, evenings, weekdays, or weekends.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain licensure and stay informed about institutional updates.
- Actively participate in assigned committees, balancing availability with teaching responsibilities.
Compensation:
Salary range: $85,000 - $105,000
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the applicable state.
- A degree from an accredited School of Nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent credentials as mandated by state regulations.
- Ability to meet faculty standards established by the Board of Vocational Nursing.
- Experience demonstrating comprehensive nursing knowledge, mentoring capabilities in classroom and clinical settings, and the ability to work autonomously.
- Current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification.
