Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Staff to join our team at Network Human Services. As a Direct Support Staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to residents, including activities of daily living, socialization, and development of meaningful interpersonal relationships.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, transportation, and leisure activities.
  • Implement behavioral plans and provide positive reinforcement to promote resident well-being.
  • Document resident progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in routine residence maintenance and ensure a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medication certification and First Aid/CPR training required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Connecticut Driver's License and eligibility for Network Human Services' auto insurance.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working approximately 31.5 hours per week. The schedule includes various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
