Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily instruction and assistance to individuals, including meal planning and preparation, leisure time planning, medication administration, and personal care. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support and instruction to individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, including following dietary guidelines
  • Plan and develop leisure activities and hobbies
  • Administer medication as required
  • Manage personal finances and make purchases
  • Transport individuals to appointments and activities
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Document all interactions and incidents
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred
  • Current driver's license required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
