We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Support Associate to join our team at the Massachusetts Correctional Institution in Framingham. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you'll provide direct patient care and support, working closely with physicians and nurses to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About the Job

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your base pay, you'll also receive an annual incentive bonus, as well as excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401K plan with matching contributions.

Responsibilities
  • Provides direct patient care, taking vital signs, measuring height and weight, and assisting with PPDs and EKGs
  • Draws blood samples, measures and records intake and output, and supports patient treatments such as dressing changes and decubitus ulcer care
  • Ensures adherence to Universal Precaution procedures and established Infection Control protocols
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Certified by professional organization in the state
  • Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements
  • Acute care experience preferred
