Job Summary:


The Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist is tasked with conveying and implementing the stipulations of the Bosch Group Supplier Quality Assurance Manual to the supply chain.

This role ensures that all quality outputs align with established benchmarks and specifications.

It involves investigating, analyzing, and facilitating corrective measures for supplier quality issues to enhance overall supplier delivery and product performance.


Key Responsibilities:


Assume responsibility for defining, updating, and disseminating the Bosch Group Supplier Quality Assurance Manual requirements both internally and externally.


Collaborate with the Procurement Team to identify and evaluate new suppliers while developing existing suppliers to fulfill business objectives and effectively manage the product lifecycle.

In conjunction with the Procurement and Supplier Quality teams, assess current supplier performance in terms of Impact, Quality, Delivery, and Cost, and generate monthly performance scorecards for individual suppliers.


Establish and implement a regular follow-up system with suppliers aimed at enhancing quality performance.

Support the Bosch Group Project Engineering team during program review sessions.


Assist in the creation of PPAP documentation (including dimensional verification requirements, process flow diagrams, control plans, FMEAs, MSA, and material analysis) as mandated by the Bosch Group Quality Management System.

Formulate processes to facilitate the approval of PPAP submissions and ensure adherence to run-at-rate practices.

Provide feedback to suppliers when PPAP submissions do not meet acceptance criteria.

Engage with the supply chain, internal stakeholders, and category managers to monitor and support actions addressing current supplier performance regarding impact, cost, efficiency, process capability, quality, and warranty expenses.


Assist suppliers in advancing product quality in collaboration with Engineering/Design and program management during the launch of new product initiatives to ensure compliance with specifications.


Deliver supplier process insights to stakeholders to identify improvement areas where components and processes can be refined to achieve optimal hydraulic performance and efficiency while minimizing unnecessary design variations.

Act as the representative voice of the Bosch Group supply chain in all relevant APQP activities.


Provide internal stakeholders with support to enhance Design for Manufacturing based on data derived from NCMRs, RMAs, shop floor challenges, etc.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
