Senior RF Engineer

At AHU Technologies Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF engineering, with a minimum of 11 years of experience in complex enterprise-level projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology. This will involve planning, organizing, and conducting research in various areas, such as new or existing products, science, social science, law, or business in support of an IT initiative.
The RF Engineer will analyze information and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professionals. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing agency codeplugs, supporting and completing agency programming requests, managing and coordinating encryption and OTAR upgrades, and developing radio training material for internal and external users.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience. They will also have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and 3 years of interoperable radio experience. Other required skills include 3 years of Land Mobile Radio experience, 3 years of radio network coverage and interference analysis experience, and 3 years of experience with RF engineering tools, including Wizard and drive test tools.
The RF Engineer will work closely with the team to ensure the successful implementation of RF engineering projects. They will be responsible for program review, compliance with licensing regulations, requirements gathering, design review, change management, and final acceptance of systems.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have a strong understanding of wireless communications and interoperability.
