Overview

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health seeks a skilled Senior Applications Systems Programmer Analyst to perform complex programming and analysis functions in the development and implementation of new systems, revision of existing systems, and support for special projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide expert-level support for the analysis, design, and development of technology programs, ensuring efficient and effective solutions that meet business needs.
  2. Develop process improvements and implement effective solutions to operational issues, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  3. Gather data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and propose viable alternatives for resolving complex problems.
  4. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  5. Manage small to medium scope projects from inception through completion, including developing work plans, coordinating resources, and monitoring progress.
  6. Mentor junior colleagues, assist peers in identifying task priorities, and ensure customer expectations are met.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Expertise in at least one technology or system/application is essential.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
