Job Title: Digital Contracts Director
Location: Atlanta, GA

Position Summary:
The Digital Contracts Director works in a dynamic team of attorneys and contract managers, providing support for strategic initiatives of new customer sales engagements. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, advising executive management on legal issues, building a trusted advisor relationship with business teams, and identifying preventative solutions to avoid legal risks.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Negotiate, draft, and review sales, services, licensing, and related agreements;
Exercise judgment in advising business clients on contract interpretation and other matters;
Provide issue-focused legal guidance to contract managers;
Advise executive management on legal risks and provide mitigation strategies;
Analyze and interpret law, rulings, and regulations affecting the business;
Coordinate with outside counsel, as necessary.

Requirements:

A graduate of a well-regarded law school;
Minimum of 12 years' legal experience in commercial/transactional law, with at least five years in the technology sector;
Knowledge of commercial contract laws and practices within the technology industry;
Familiarity with privacy law and cybersecurity matters;
Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate at high levels;
Strong writing skills and attention to detail;
Ability to work under short deadlines and outside normal working hours;
Conceptual thinking in complex situations and ability to communicate ideas both internally and externally;
May require 50-75% domestic and international travel;
Confidence in client-facing situations, presenting a positive and professional image; excellent interpersonal skills.

$120,000 - $180,000 per year
