Construction Laborer Position with Physical Demands

We are seeking a Construction Laborer to join our team at Outside The Box, LLC. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work and is looking for a challenging role in the construction industry.

Job Summary

The Construction Laborer will perform various tasks including demolition, loading/unloading heavy materials, cleaning the site, and assisting skilled tradesmen. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, have reliable transportation to and from the project site, and be dependable and timely.

About the Role
  • Perform full demolition on the project site, including loading/unloading heavy materials and removing hazards.
  • Clean the site, carry tools and equipment, dig, and perform other physical labor as required.
  • Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
  • Help prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Related construction experience preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
Work Environment

You will work on various construction projects using different construction systems, in different environments. This may include general and specialized construction, new construction, interior/exterior renovations/rehabilitations, tenant improvements, and system upgrades.

Physical Demands

This role requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling/fingering, reaching outward, and climbing. You will also need to lift/carry 10 lbs or less frequently, 11-20 lbs frequently, 21-50 lbs frequently, and over 100 lbs occasionally. You should be willing to work in all weather conditions and have good physical condition and endurance.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
