Executive Director Role

The Executive Director will serve as the chief executive officer of the Coalition, driving strategic direction and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the board of directors to ensure effective governance and performance
  • Developing and implementing a strategic plan to diversify funding sources and expand services
  • Fostering a positive organizational culture that promotes teamwork and innovation
  • Serving as the primary spokesperson for the organization, representing its mission and values to the community and stakeholders
  • Advocating for policies and initiatives that support the homeless population and the organization's mission
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a not-for-profit organization, preferably in a field related to homelessness or social services
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising and diversifying funding sources, with a strong network of contacts in the philanthropic community
  • Experience in board development and governance, with the ability to engage and motivate board members
  • Strong financial management skills, with experience overseeing budgets and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team
