Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor is a key member of the hotel's operations team, responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Team Leadership: Assist the Front Desk Manager in leading the front desk team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are meeting their responsibilities and providing excellent guest service.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with all hotel departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure that guest requests are met and that the hotel is running smoothly.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all guests have a positive experience.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and filing, to ensure that the front desk area is running efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on front desk operations and guest service.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
