- Team Leadership: Assist the Front Desk Manager in leading the front desk team, providing guidance and support to ensure that all team members are meeting their responsibilities and providing excellent guest service.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with all hotel departments, including housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure that guest requests are met and that the hotel is running smoothly.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate and resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all guests have a positive experience.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and filing, to ensure that the front desk area is running efficiently.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in hospitality or a related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on front desk operations and guest service.
- Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
