Position Overview

The Mechanical Construction Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and directing all mechanical construction operations on-site. This position entails managing the installation, upkeep, and repair of mechanical systems and apparatus, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project requirements, collaborating with various parties, and leading a skilled workforce.

Core Responsibilities

Project Oversight:

  • Organize, schedule, and manage mechanical construction tasks.
  • Guarantee that all mechanical activities are executed in accordance with project requirements, specifications, and industry benchmarks.
  • Track project advancements and implement necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.

Leadership:

  • Direct and oversee a team of mechanical personnel, including subcontractors.
  • Offer training, mentorship, and assistance to team members.
  • Hold regular meetings to review project progress, safety measures, and resolve any challenges.

Quality Assurance:

  • Evaluate and assess mechanical work to confirm it meets quality criteria and specifications.
  • Identify and rectify any issues or inconsistencies in the mechanical operations.
  • Ensure thorough documentation and reporting of all mechanical activities.

Safety Oversight:

  • Establish and enforce safety protocols and procedures on the construction site.
  • Conduct safety briefings and inspections to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Address any safety issues or incidents swiftly and effectively.

Collaboration:

  • Work in conjunction with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with different trades to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.
  • Manage the sourcing and delivery of mechanical materials and equipment.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee and regulate project expenditures related to mechanical construction.
  • Prepare and evaluate budgets, cost projections, and financial reports.
  • Authorize invoices and monitor expenses to ensure the project remains within financial limits.

Compensation: Salary up to $140K
