Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team at PeopleShare Inc. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our organization by overseeing ship service contract programs and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Assist in the preparation of accurate quotations for various programs, ensuring timely submission and communication with customers.
  • Program Coordination: Develop a working knowledge of the work being quoted to address customer questions and ensure effective information flow with other departments.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure all contract deliverables are provided prior to project closure and participate in regular interface meetings to ensure effective information flow.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to provide project status and resolve issues ranging from schedule and technical compliance to service and warranty clarification.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Three (3) years' experience in project leadership and three (3) years of United States government contracting experience preferred.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Standard Items and Familiarization with American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) rules and regulations.
  • Certifications: Not required but highly desirable: a current PMP certification.
