Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Fundraising Leadership
    • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve annual and long-term financial goals.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
    • Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and planned giving.
  • Team Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful fundraising outcomes.

    • Collaborate with senior leadership, the board of directors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication of fundraising goals and strategies.
    • Develop and implement communication plans to engage stakeholders, donors, and the community in the organization's mission and fundraising efforts.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, public relations, or a related field.
    • Minimum of five years of experience in fundraising, annual giving, capital campaigns, planned giving, major gifts, and grant management.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of success in fundraising, with a minimum of $1 million in combined donations.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in staff supervision and development.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and community leaders.
    • Proficient in using email, internet, and other PC-based applications, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
