Job Summary

We are seeking a Resident Care Coordinator to join our team at TerraBella Senior Living. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating resident care needs, including scheduling, log maintenance, and documentation. They will also assist the Director of Health & Wellness in training new Care Managers and Medication Technicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate resident care staffing to meet regulatory and company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident care records.
  • Perform daily filing of documents and quality assurance reviews.
  • Retrieve and verify physician orders in a timely manner.
  • Conduct medication cart audits and report findings to the Director of Health & Wellness.
  • Assist with data collection and reporting as needed.
  • Review medication administration processes and provide support/training as required.
  • Precept new team members and ensure they are in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Take physician orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Protect residents' rights and provide emergency treatment as needed.
  • Notify the Director of Health & Wellness of changes in resident condition and document accordingly.
  • Schedule appointments and arrange transportation for residents as needed.
  • Understand and implement fire safety and disaster plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Health & Wellness.

Qualifications

  • Meet minimum criteria to perform as a Supervisor in Charge in the State of North Carolina.
  • Be a licensed Medication Technician or CNA with at least one year of experience preferred.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a warm, outgoing, and compassionate personality.
  • Be a person of deep moral integrity with demonstrated maturity and leadership skills.
  • Have knowledge of community agencies and appreciation for social and life history status of residents.
