We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse Resident to join our team at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. As a RN Resident, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while developing your clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150-bed hospital that has provided exceptional healthcare services for over 40 years. Our facility is accredited as the first Chest Pain Center in Sumner County and a Certified Primary Stroke Center, ensuring we provide top-notch care to our patients.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer an array of benefits, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and retirement savings plans.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse Resident, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with departmental requirements and established nursing standards. You will work closely with medical providers and other members of the care team to ensure individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care for each patient.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers. Document administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response. Notify provider and intervene as necessary in the event of an unintended response to medication.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and striving to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
- Teach patients, families, and caregivers about patient medical condition, treatment plan, medications, and possible side effects. Translate complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A basic cardiac life support certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
- An advanced cardiac life support certification obtained within one year of employment.
- An associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
- A registered nurse license or graduate nurse in the state.
- No previous experience is required; some travel may be necessary for training.
