Job Summary:

">

The Nurse Residency Program at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center provides you with the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment. This paid program will assist you with the transition out of the classroom setting through a formalized series of learning experiences, including advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training, measurement and evaluation of skills, mentoring from experienced nurse leaders, and working collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project.

Cohort Start Dates:

We have multiple cohort start dates available, including January 2025, February 2025, March 2025, May 2025, June 2025, July 2025, August 2025, September 2025, October 2025, and December 2025.

Specialties Available:

You can choose from various specialties, including Med/Surg, Inpatient Rehab, Stepdown, Behavioral Health, Emergency Services, Critical Care, OR/Peri-Op 101, Womens, and Pediatrics.

Job Responsibilities:

">

As a Nurse Resident, you will be responsible for assessing patient condition during admission and each shift, performing procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers, documenting care in the patient medical record, administering prescribed medications, and teaching patients and families about their medical conditions and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

">

To be eligible for this role, you must have a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment, an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment, and a Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the state where you will be working. No previous experience is required.

Salary:

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
