Job Title: School Nutrition Worker Part-Time

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic School Nutrition Worker to join our team at JR Lowell Elementary School. As a key member of our school nutrition team, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious meals to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and menu specifications, ensuring quality control and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to students and staff, handling cash transactions and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Other Expectations: Report to work on time, attend job-related training classes, and perform other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or School Nutrition Director.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with ServSafe certification preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in quantity food production is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to perform all job functions requiring reaching, bending, stooping, and frequently lifting/carrying 30-50 pounds.
