Job Summary

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Providence Health & Services, you will play a vital role in providing medically prescribed therapy services to patients using professionally accepted Speech Therapy theory and skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' needs and develop goals for therapy.
  • Provide direct patient care, including individual and group therapy sessions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Washington State Speech Language Pathologist License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Adult rehabilitation experience as a Speech Therapist or equivalent experience in a related field.
