Job Summary

The Aviation Pilot will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Company's aircraft, both on the ground and in the air. This position will provide leadership and direction to the flight operations team both as a facilitator and mentor, as appropriate, and shall assume additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Flight Operations Leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Flight Operations Management
    • Ensures that all crew members are fit for flight.
    • Operates Company aircraft in compliance with all regulatory, company, and manufacturer requirements and limitations.
    • Participates in and enhances the Company's Safety Management System program.
  • Leadership and Mentorship
    • Provides leadership and direction to the flight operations team.
    • Mentors team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Operational Planning and Execution
    • Ensures that flights are planned and conducted in accordance with all applicable parameters including safety, airport, airspace, ground support services, security, crew rest and duty time, weight and balance, handling services, airport curfews and aircraft operating limitations.
    • Understands and practices Crew Resource Management.
  • Industry Knowledge and Involvement
    • Maintains a high level of business aviation industry involvement and understanding.
  • Communication and Leadership
    • Maintains strong communication and leadership skills with the ability and desire to motivate and mentor team members.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Knowledge and understanding of FOMs, MELs, SMS, APG, SOPs, C-FOQA, CFRs and professional standards required to operate within a team while enhancing the work environment.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to function under pressure.
    • Excellent leadership and observational skills plus strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Qualifications
    • CL-605 rating or CL-600 experience is preferred.
    • Exceptional customer and executive management relations.
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • First-Class Medical.
    • Jet aircraft experience.
    • Minimum of 1500 hours total time.
    • Minimum of 500 hours in Turbine Aircraft.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Valid US passport.
    • CANPASS Unrestricted travel to/from Canada.
    • Proficiency in English language.
    • Reside in Greater Phoenix (Non-Commutable).
