You will operate Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner, completing pre-flight checks and verifying the aircraft's airworthiness. Your thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and Air Methods policies and procedures will be essential in ensuring compliance and maintaining a high level of safety.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Operate Air Methods aircraft in a safe and legal manner
  • Complete pre-flight checks and verify aircraft airworthiness
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, AIM, and Air Methods policies and procedures
  • Transport medical crew and patients to receiving hospitals
  • Participate in regular meetings, activities, and community outreach

**Requirements**

  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Two to five years of related experience and/or training
  • Commercial & Instrument Rating for category and class of aircraft
  • First OR Second Class FAA Medical certificate required
