Job Overview

JST is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Acquisition Function to join our team. This is a full-time Onsite position with potential hybrid/remote work at Defense Health Agency (DHA) offices in Dayton, Ohio. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment, and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply. This position is contingent upon contract award.


The Senior Project Manager - Acquisition Function shall be professional in demeanor, appearance, and deportment. Employees shall be responsive. The Senior Project Manager - Acquisition Function may be required to interface with senior Government and industry officials. Personnel shall have excellent written and oral communications skills sufficient to provide clear concise communication and documentation. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project as well as with Adobe Acrobat.


Responsibilities

  • Strong communication skills as Project Manager
  • Performs day-to-day management of contract support operations involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations, on a single project.
  • Demonstrates skills in the scope of work encompassed by the contract/task order; provides technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work and reviews the quality of all work products.
  • Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all contract support activities.
  • Responsible for staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight.
  • The Project Manager maintains and manages the client interface with the COR of the client organization.
  • Assists the Program Manager as required in managing contract performance.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree
  • Experience providing technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work
  • Experience in coordinating the planning and production of all contract support activities.
  • Skilled in staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight.
  • Experience with assisting the Program Manager as required in managing contract performance.
  • Experienced in contract support operations
  • Experience with DoD acquisition programs

Required Clearances and Screenings

  • MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance
