Job Summary

Xpress Wellness Urgent Care is seeking a skilled Front Office Medical Receptionist to provide exceptional patient care and support our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Greeting and Registration: Accurately and efficiently check in patients, collect co-pays, and obtain registration information.
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection: Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Patient Flow and Lobby Management: Coordinate patient flow and maintain a clean and organized front-desk environment.
  • Communication and Scheduling: Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a positive working relationship.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in a customer-centric role preferred.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; knowledge of medical terminology and procedures; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems.
