The House Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of residential living spaces within our community. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain residential living rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition, including custodian closets.
- Assist with laundry as needed.
- Perform moderate to heavy physical effort for up to 8 hours per day, including stooping, bending, stretching, squatting, standing, and walking.
- Operate a vacuum and work in confined spaces around furniture and breakable objects.
- Have constant contact with residents and be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Push and/or pull wheeled carts and equipment generally weighing up to 200 lbs. over tiled and carpeted surfaces for long distances.
- Ability to understand basic instructions in English.
- Self-directed and motivated.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
The House Cleaner may be exposed to communicable diseases, industrial and household chemicals, offensive odors, and high heat levels.
