Job Description Summary

The Sr. Finance Manager – Commercial Finance serves as a strategic partner to Product GMs and their staff to drive business initiatives, growth, business strategy, and profitability for Molecular Imaging (MI) segment within Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx). Reporting to the MI Finance Director, the role is responsible for supporting commercial execution and recommending best financial outcomes to drive long-term profitable growth for the US market, including NPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Product GMs and their staff to drive operating performance and act as a champion for strategic initiatives within the organization.

Drive profitable growth and analytics for all products, including NPIs in the portfolio – pricing, gross margins, cost optimization, and process simplification.

Optimize financial performance and operational efficiencies by providing financial insights and working closely with sales leadership to enhance productivity and maximize sales force effectiveness.

Monitor and stay updated on market practices, industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that could affect negotiations and execution.

Partner with Supply Chain and Demand Planning team in driving the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process from a finance perspective, understand customer demand, inventory dynamics, and contribute to capacity/production planning.

Lead the development of budget, LTS, forecasts, and monthly P&L estimates by product by partnering with cross-functional teams and recommending key actions to mitigate risk and maximize opportunities.

Partner with Global Finance teams (FP&A, Controllership, Treasury, Region CFOs) to support key initiatives in Finance, enabling better decision support and simplification.

Drive Monthly/Quarterly close, Actual Performance reporting to Finance and Commercial teams, Pricing and Sales analytics.

Develop and improve financial processes: Finance reporting tools, Management reporting tools, budgeting, and estimating processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 7+ years of experience.

Substantial experience in Finance and Finance Business Partnering.

Desired Characteristics:

Master's degree in Accounting/Finance.

Healthcare or Pharmaceutical Industry experience.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects, influence, and lead teams.

Ability to document, plan, market, and execute. Established project management skills.

Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to assess various complex issues simultaneously and prioritize.

Experience and comfort in a matrix environment.

Ability to work independently and without supervision.

Competency in data analysis, building Excel reports, and presentations.

Experience with financial systems/applications, strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation.
