About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales and Product Specialist to join our team at Lumber Liquidators. As a Sales and Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our store managers and assistant managers in achieving sales goals and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Assist customers in selecting the best flooring products for their projects, providing overall customer satisfaction, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Store Operations: Assist with the upkeep of the flooring warehouse, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Sales and Proactive Selling: Engage in proactive selling, including outbound sales calls to customers and professionals, to drive sales and meet or exceed sales goals.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: A passion for customer service and a desire to grow within our company.
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Customer-facing experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Education: A High School degree, GED, or equivalent.
  • Home Improvement Knowledge: An interest in home improvement and influencing flooring design choices.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable with technology, Microsoft Office products, and basic computer skills.
  • Communication Skills: Engaging communication skills and a conversation starter.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to occasionally lift heavy boxes.
  • Training and Development: Willingness to learn and operate a forklift, with all training provided.
