  • Order Management: Under general supervision, you will review, analyze, and interpret moderately complex incoming orders across a diverse range of product lines, clarifying terminology and supplying any missing information.
  • Pricing and Inventory Coordination: You will check pricing, inventory levels, discounts, and customer details to ensure accurate order processing.
  • Issue Resolution: You will clarify order details and correct discrepancies, maintaining all necessary records related to pricing, discounts, and product information.
  • Urgency Assessment: You will determine and prioritize orders based on urgency, ensuring timely processing.
  • Communication: You will liaise with the outside sales team and customers to resolve questions or inconsistencies regarding orders.
  • Customer Support: Handling customer complaints through various communication channels, you will strive to provide effective solutions.
  • Account Verification: Utilizing phone communication, you will reach out to customers to verify account information and assist with order placements, cancellations, returns, and warranty issues.
  • Sales Support: You will inform customers about ongoing promotions and suggest alternatives when products are out of stock.
  • Technology Utilization: You will leverage computer technology to manage high call volumes in a B2B environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with the customer service manager, you will ensure that high-quality customer service is consistently delivered.
  • Switchboard Coverage: You will also be responsible for covering the switchboard as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Proficient in computer applications and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong typing and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A positive and energetic attitude when interacting with customers.
  • Hands-on experience in managing customer accounts, including handling returns and complaints effectively.
  • Proven ability to quickly determine answers and solutions.
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
  • Experience in the industrial motor control sector is advantageous.
