Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Strategic Partner to join our team at Cognizant. As a key member of our Manufacturing, Logistics, Energy & Utilities Consulting group, you will partner with clients and project stakeholders to deliver consulting excellence through Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: Project Execution, Expertise, Business Development, Practice Development, and People Development.


Responsibilities:



  • Work with clients to establish connections between business goals and strategies and capability development and implementation to achieve desired business value.
  • Define product/platform strategies and solutions focused on inventory management, logistics optimization, billing, and payments.
  • Understand scope and define business requirements along with client business stakeholders.
  • Map business processes to identify improvement/transformation opportunities.
  • End-to-end requirement management of products from product/platform vision to deliverable stories.
  • Prepare functional use cases/detailed user stories.
  • Validate UX/UI for every feature/function.
  • Conduct stories/functionality demo to client product management teams (internal/external).
  • Review test plans prepared by QA Team.
  • Support UAT.
  • Assist in resolving scope, requirements, and other technical related queries.
  • Manage change requests/enhancements/features.
  • Defect analysis, testing, and demo to client.
  • Expertise in working with multi-geography development teams to deliver production-ready products with incremental value.
  • Advanced problem resolution skills and communication abilities.
  • Create and maintain long-term working relationships with technology teams, functional counterparts, vendors, and business partners.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience, with additional certifications preferred.
  • 7+ years of consulting experience with a focus on Transportation and Logistics.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certified in Logistics Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in transportation management systems and logistics software.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Adept at using data analytics tools to drive logistics optimization.
  • Proven track record of managing third-party logistics providers.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective training programs.
  • Experience in conducting audits and assessments in logistics.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in logistics operations.

  • Ability to travel if needed for business requirements.
