Housekeeping Senior Position at Harmony Senior Services

About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community, including common living areas and resident apartments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
About UsWe offer competitive pay for this role, with an estimated salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you can expect:

The Housekeeper will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the community, including common living areas and resident apartments
- Completing maintenance request reports as needed
- Reporting any deterioration or damage to the building and furnishings to the housekeeping supervisor
- Operating the laundry equipment as needed
- Reporting inadequate quantities of cleaning supplies to the housekeeping supervisor
- Using only approved cleaning products and ensuring that all cleaning supplies are properly stored
- Cleaning office areas as assigned
- Dusting and cleaning all window blinds in the community
- Dusting all furniture, bookshelves, etc. in resident apartments and common areas
- Vacuuming common areas and resident apartments
- Keeping common area and resident bathrooms clean
- Cleaning apartments at resident move-out
- Attending required in-services and staff meetings
- Maintaining resident privacy/confidentiality at all times and following all policies regarding release of resident information
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Housekeeping experience is highly desired
- The ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- The ability to complete assignments thoroughly and on time
- The ability to work well with others as part of a team
- Polite and courteous behavior towards all residents, visitors, co-workers, and management team
- The ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, grasp, push, and pull for extended periods of time
- The ability to lift 25 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet
- The willingness to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
