Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality Patient Care: Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor Patient Condition: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment, and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current RN License: Possess a current and valid state RN license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Hold a current BLS certificate and maintain current certification.
- Critical Care Experience: Have a minimum of one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, with critical care experience preferred.
- Education and Training: Possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and have completed a Critical Care Course, with Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation and ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
