Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist with critical care or infectious disease training and background to join our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in facility committees responsible for establishing and implementing medication-related policies and procedures within the ICU.
  • Primarily responsible for the direction of the critical care service line within the hospital.
  • Identify how drug costs may be minimized through appropriate use of drugs in the ICU and through implementation of cost-containment measures.
  • Participate in nursing, physician, or ancillary team onboarding and staff meetings with the ICU as appropriate to explain clinical pharmacy services and educate on new drugs or updated clinical guidelines.
Requirements
  • B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy required.
  • Minimum of two years of hospital experience is required or Resident trained preferred.
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy.
