Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Reports to: TSG Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis

Supervisory Responsibilities: Accounting Manager

Summary/Objective: The Ladders is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support corporate financial evaluation and reporting. This role involves collaborating with various management levels on accounting and financial management issues and special initiatives.

Essential Functions:
  • Assist in the creation and subsequent review of Microsoft Power BI reports.
  • Oversee cost analysis processes by enforcing and auditing established policies and procedures.
  • Develop financial models that encompass industry benchmarking and process evaluation.
  • Conduct business analyses on historical, projected, and comparative performance to formulate forecasting models for capital investments and other initiatives.
  • Promote process enhancement and policy development efforts.
  • Maintain job costing by establishing overhead rates and validating data collected through the ERP system.
  • Calculate operational costs by gathering operational data and determining labor rates.
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and rectifying data discrepancies.
  • Support individual company accountants with audit and tax-related deliverables.
Required Competency, Education, and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role is necessary.
  • Familiarity with Sage 100 and/or Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office are essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • CPA or other professional certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in public accounting is preferred.
  • Ability to write SQL or DAX code is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is beneficial.
Work Environment: Office setting within a manufacturing context.

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Repetitive hand movements.
  • Prolonged use of computer systems.
  • Capability to move or lift files and boxes weighing up to 10 lbs.
