Position Overview:

The Senior Commercial Property Accountant is essential in ensuring precise financial reporting and effective vendor management across various commercial entities. Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing monthly financial statements while ensuring data integrity through the recording, verification, consolidation, and analysis of transactions.
- Establishing and enforcing strong accounting methods, policies, and principles for commercial properties.
- Managing cash receipts, lease abstracts, move-outs, security deposits, rent rolls, delinquency reports, and accounts payable coding.
- Conducting bank reconciliations, calculating property management fees, and overseeing CAM estimates, reforecasts, and reconciliations.
- Reviewing financial statements, managing client distributions/contributions, and overseeing general accounting functions.
- Maintaining cash records, performing cash management tasks, and collaborating with property managers and accounting team members.
- Conducting CAM reconciliations using various tools, including MRI, Kardin, and Excel.
- Managing external audits, maintaining property documentation, and overseeing vendor relationships.
- Interfacing with clients and external parties, training junior staff, and undertaking other assigned duties.
