Position Overview

The Advanced Neurodiagnostic Specialist is a pivotal role within the Neurodiagnostic department. This position is responsible for executing both standard and intricate EEG procedures autonomously, adhering to established facility protocols. The specialist is tasked with delivering findings, results, and comprehensive analyses in line with facility guidelines, while ensuring patient safety during critical clinical events. Strong communication abilities and teamwork are vital for success in this role. The Advanced Neurodiagnostic Specialist operates under the clinical and technical oversight of departmental leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Conducts procedures that align with the expertise and qualifications of a Neurodiagnostic Specialist, including advanced techniques. Engages in ongoing education and skill enhancement in EEG and other accredited modalities; embraces new competencies relevant to industry benchmarks in Neurodiagnostics for EEG and additional credentialed modalities. Contributes to the training and orientation of junior specialists and EEG trainees. Executes various job-related tasks as assigned.
