About the Role

As an Advanced Nursing Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients with complex needs. Your expertise will be invaluable in assessing patient needs, developing and implementing personalized care plans, and educating patients and their families on chronic condition management and self-care techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care that prioritizes the unique needs and goals of each patient
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Engage patients and families in the care process through education, counseling, and support services
  • Stay current with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in your specialty area to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care

Requirements

  • Masters degree in nursing or a related field (or RN license with 2-3 years of experience in the clinical area of specialty)
  • Current, valid RN license in the state of practice (or compact RN licensure for the current state of practice)
  • Specialty certification in wound/ostomy care, diabetic care, pain management, or a related area
  • Strong knowledge of the specialty area and critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and opportunities for staff education

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development. Estimated salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
