Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiogram Specialist to join our team at Dignity Health. As an Echocardiogram Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiogram studies, communicating effectively with ancillary areas and internal staff, and providing professional and quality care to patients from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general diagnostic echocardiogram studies, including general echo, TEE, pediatric echo, stress echo, and contrast echoes.
  • Communicate effectively with cardiologists, ancillary areas, and internal staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide professional and quality care to patients, following hospital and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Document technical findings and preliminary observations within the scope of practice as set by department policies.
  • Assist in the training of echo technologists or students in the advancement of research and general echocardiography.
Qualifications
  • RDCS registered from ARDMS.
  • Minimum of basic understanding of general echocardiography.
  • BLS certificate (American Heart).
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to patients and medical equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent patient care.
