Key Responsibilities- Product Vision and Requirements: Work with stakeholders to translate future vision and requirements into clearly broken-down epics and stories, ensuring that all team members understand and align with the product's goals.
- Prioritization and Backlog Management: Create and maintain the product backlog, a prioritized list of features, user stories, and tasks, prioritizing items based on business value, customer needs, and market trends.
- User Story Development: Break down high-level product requirements into detailed user stories that can be understood and implemented by the development team, ensuring these stories are ready for implementation and meet strong agile/SAFE standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, communicating progress, changes, and updates regularly to both groups.
- Business Case Support: Assist in developing and presenting business cases for new product features and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Acceptance Criteria and Quality Assurance: Define acceptance criteria for user stories to ensure that the development team understands what constitutes a complete and well-implemented feature, and ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Risk Management and UI/UX Alignment: Identify and mitigate risks that could impact product development or delivery, and work with the UX team to ensure new features have wireframes and UI designs ready for sprint planning.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Define KPIs and measures for the features and capabilities, and work with the development team to ensure data-driven decision making.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, computer science) or equivalent work experience, with 3-5 years of experience in Product Management or as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
- Technical Skills: Experience with product and development tools such as ADO, Jira, or other similar tools, and technical expertise in data, API integrations, HL7, and FHIR interoperability standards.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, leadership and decision-making skills, understanding of the industry, market trends, and customer needs, and strong collaboration and communication skills.
