About the Role

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Muskogee, OK. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing the pulp and paper manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate current pulp and paper manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
  • Monitor process performance and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Lead and manage projects related to process optimization, equipment upgrades, and new technology implementation
  • Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, operators, and maintenance personnel, to ensure successful project execution
Requirements
  • Experience in a pulp and paper manufacturing or a related industry environment
  • Understanding of pulp and paper processes, equipment, and technologies
  • Ability to analyze complex data and troubleshoot process issues
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma and/or Continuous Improvement
