The Manufacturing Graduate Development Program at O-I is a comprehensive 18-month program designed to provide exposure to diverse roles, functions, and business units within the company. This program fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, driving organizational effectiveness and succession planning by cultivating future leaders.
Program StructureThe program features pre-defined rotations, adhering to a consistent schedule for all participants, and includes midpoint reviews to assess progress and provide feedback. Participants will engage in deep-dive assignments tailored to their development goals and organizational needs, with structured debriefing sessions at the end of each rotation to reflect on their achievements and areas for growth.
Key Components- Comprehensive Onboarding: Participants will receive comprehensive onboarding sessions introducing them to the program structure, expectations, and governance framework.
- Individualized Development Plans: Participants will set clear objectives aligned with organizational goals and their career aspirations.
- Mentorship: Participants will be matched with an experienced mentor who aligns with their career goals and development needs.
- Regular Check-Ins: Participants will engage in regular check-ins with their mentor to support their progress, address challenges, and explore opportunities for advancement.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge processes and technologies.
- Develop expertise in a specialty area that aligns with their interests and career goals.
- Transition into a full-time role at one of O-I's premier manufacturing plants in North America.
To be eligible for the program, participants must:
- Be a December 2024-May 2025 graduate.
- Hold a degree in a relevant field, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical, Manufacturing, Ceramic, and Glass Engineering, Maintenance, and Industrial Technology, and Operations Management.
- Be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
- Be able to travel throughout North America during the program.
O-I offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A salary of $70,000 annually.
- A possible 12% quarterly incentive bonus.
- A generous benefit package, including comprehensive medical, dental, prescription, and vision care coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan with substantial employer contributions.
