About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Freight Sales Specialist to join our team at DPDHL. In this role, you will be a key player in driving our sales and expanding our freight services business across the Milwaukee area.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and cultivate relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and translating them into sales opportunities.
Negotiate freight rates with customers and carriers, ensuring profitable and competitive pricing.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify potential business opportunities.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of services.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

Proven experience in freight sales, with a strong understanding of the freight and logistics industry.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to achieve sales targets.
Solid understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in the freight industry.
